    upgraded to 3 JL amps, 8:8 JL tower speakers, 12w3 JL sub, JL 10” marine sub, 6 JL 6.5 mids, and 2 7.7 JL miss on the swim deck

    It’s minted using two #8 1.5 inch lag screws

    How does it sound in there?
    wouldn't it be better to mount on a outer surface?
    How are the vibrations?

    Bass is non directional and actually sounds better when fired this way.. makes the storage area a bandpass box of sorts

    I want to add stronger amp and transom speakers to my r3. How big a pain is that? Should I have work done by dealership?

    Do you have an amp In now?

    I just totally redid my stereo on my ‘17 R3.
    Added two JL amps, replaced the mid grade JL speakers with Polk speakers and added a JL sub.
    I have another sub begging to be installed along with a pair of JL 770s for the swim platform
    If you know what your doing ....it just takes time.
