I have a 2007 272 with the 496 mag engine. Problem just started 3 days ago. Boating at Lake Tahoe. After turning off the engine when warm then restarting upon acceleration it loses power and warning beep activated for about 2 seconds. Boat runs fine after that. Oil/water temp/ volt gages normal, gear lube bottle full. Has anyone else had this issue? New to Club Cobalt.

Do you always boat in Tahoe or was this a special trip?

This is the 4th year for this boat. At Lake Tahoe. First 2 days the boat ran fine. Also 2 weeks before boated at Lake Don Pedro for 3 days with no problem. Trying to fine a repair facility that has a mercruiser scan tool to scan for codes and check on a water leak into the bilge from the transom.
