    Tip #1 for wake surfing.

    make sure to point the prop wash away from the rider in the water at the start. because of the prop trim (pointed up), the prop wash is very strong and will blast away the rider. in some cases, it will throw the board into the face of the rider still in the water.

    just click in and out of gear to see where the prop wash is blowing and make sure the rider is all the way over to the side of the boat before you start and you should have a better experience. prop wash is not like a regular surf boat on these forward drive penta's.

    if you are ordering a new boat, order it with the rudder angle indicator (additional ~$200) to help with figuring out where the prop wash will blast off at. retrofit is ~$200 for the parts, but you will have to account for the labor and splicing of the wiring pigtail into your harness.
