I'm jealous Walt. I'm still screwing around with little gremlins so haven't been on the water much in the last 4 weeks. Hoping to do some testing tomorrow. Shawn
Had a big gremlin show up. We went out, anchored for awhile, and went to start the engine, and nothing. All other electrical systems worked, but would not even crank. Got towed in. Next day, checked the neutral switch, and the meter showed it was working as it should. Played with the kill switch, and then it started. Engaged the kill switch again, and the engine cranked but not start, as it should. Went out today and started and stopped a number of times and it worked fine. Anchored for a while, and no crank again. Fiddled with the kill switch, and it started, which was good because we had to hi tail it in due to approaching weather. Got back to a slip, and the boat sat for an hour, and then no crank again. Toggled kill switch, nothing. Jumped the neutral switch, nothing. Tried to jump from the hot on the ignition switch, and no spark when touching the other terminals. Jumped out the circuit breaker for ignition, and nothing. Going to review the wiring diagram to see if I missed a fuse or something somewhere.
